Toxic Education

If you are like me, even though you may have never met Charlie Kirk, you have been deeply affected by the recent news of his brutal murder and assassination.

A completely senseless tragedy and a preventable one if the murderer had not been indoctrinated into the death cult by his so-called “education”. This is the issue I want to talk about: the current culture within the education establishment that fosters this kind of violence.

I have never allowed my children to ever cross the threshold of a government education institution, until just recently, when my daughter started attending trade school. No, government preschool, no grammar school, no secondary school, and definitely no university. I refused, and I made the sacrifice of homeschooling them at a young age to make sure that they would never be indoctrinated by these wicked people who are now celebrating in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s death.

For much of the country’s history, its educational institutions have been captured. Captured by leftists of all stripes who care nothing about their students, or actual education, but only about themselves, and furthering their depraved ideologies. This process began in the early 19th century with the capture of Harvard University by the Unitarian heretics from the Puritan Christians who founded that institution. It has been progressing since then. We have had over 200 years of this rot metastasizing throughout our educational systems, bringing us to this point in time. The point in time we are in is one where righteously raised kids are routinely arriving at University and are radicalized to the point of murdering those they have been taught to disagree with. Within six months to a year of being at school, the indoctrination is total. This seems to have been the case with Charlie’s murderer. An otherwise normal kid and upbringing who had the worst thing happen to him you can imagine in our day, he got a scholarship to go to college.

His family commented that they noticed a change in him, and his father turned him in to the police when he realized, from FBI images, that he was the one who murdered Charlie Kirk. Yet, this is the exact point that many college professors are aiming for: the radicalization of America’s youth. Only the murderer himself will go to prison; however, this entire educational establishment needs to be dismantled for the damage it has caused.

I had my own personal experience with the behavior of leftist professors in college and their young followers. Being in the student government at my Jr. College was an eye-opening experience. This was in the early 90s, but even then, saying common-sense things like men and women are different by design, there are moral absolutes, and being pro-life put me on the intellectual target list. There were no attempts at violence, but I was intellectually bullied by both professors and students. I was pressured in all kinds of ways, and ultimately, I was tricked into being forced out of my position as Student Body President for no other reason than that I was a white, Christian, male. These cowardly leftists waited for supervision to be gone, suspended the rules of the meeting, and then ousted me.

Now I am not comparing my experience to Charlie Kirk’s, I am simply saying that the left are not the tolerant ones they have always claimed themselves to be. Precisely the reverse. The leftist agenda has not survived on their winning in debates against opposing ideas; they have won in the academy by crowding out those opposed to their dogma, and have been doing so for two hundred years.

If you are a parent and you are reading this, you have to ask yourself: “How can my child get a good education from a bunch of radicals who have no one opposed to their ideas because they have prevented that opposition from being there?” The answer is that they cannot, and what they are getting in its place is pure indoctrination. That indoctrination has become so perverse and ubiquitous that going to college has become a death sentence for many. Colleges have become places where you cannot say common-place ideas like: God exists, men and women are designed differently for different roles, it’s murder to kill people, stealing and cheating are wrong, etc.

The rot has gotten so bad that the former President of Harvard was caught plagiarizing a research paper to the degree that she had to step down from her Presidency. She is still teaching at Harvard, of course, which just shows that the rot still exists.

What is worse is that YOU ARE PAYING FOR IT!!! The leftists never use their own money to underwrite their destruction of the American mind. They far prefer for you to underwrite your child’s own downfall yourself. So they have established government education, at every conceivable level, with which to accomplish this. That way, they can extract their paychecks from you by force and have no accountability for what they are teaching your children. It is a completely socialist system that we have in education in the United States, and it needs to go. What we need is a totally free market in education. Vouchers are ultimately a halfway measure, albeit an improvement over the current system. However, we need to get to the ultimate solution in education, and that is a free market once and for all. We had that once in this country. Our founding fathers were all largely home-educated or self-educated and were far better educated than students today.

What is the solution for the time being? Well, if you can afford it, a good private school can be a possible solution for your children, but be careful, there are many private schools that are as much of a problem as the government schools. So choose wisely, and pull your kids at the first signs of indoctrination over education. The other solution is homeschooling. We are in the current happy circumstance that homeschooling is legal in all 50 states in the United States. Take advantage of this, as it is not true in all countries. If every Christian family did this, the institutions would lose their power and control over the culture overnight. This would be the kind of bloodless, peaceful revolution that our society needs. Families raising their own children instead of outsourcing it to unaccountable bureaucrats. Imagine that? I am not saying it may not take some sacrifice and hard work, but it will pay dividends in your family’s future.

Then what? Then, when your child is ready for college, send them to almost any trade school and DO NOT send them to a college, with very few exceptions. There they can learn a trade and useful skills that they can use to make a living in the world and be contributing members of society. Your family will never be divided by the radicals in colleges passing themselves off as the experts whom your child should learn from, and your children will continue their whole lives with the values that you raised them with.

This is why I am writing our curriculum here at RCA, because I believe the culture needs a quiet revolution behind every door of every home in every town in this country. Where we are doing the actual radical things, like families having children again instead of aborting them, educating their children themselves in the fear and admonition of the Lord, and opting out of the corrupt systems that today pass themselves off as educational institutions. They are decidedly not about education but are all in on indoctrination. This is how you can avoid the toxicity of the education system for your family, and how we can change the culture one child at a time.
